You are seeing: Valentines Day Heart Fingerprint Tree Craft. This post was compiled by en.intelnuc.

We have another loving art project to share with you: This Valentine’s Fingerprint Heart Tree is perfect for kids and kids at heart. It’s super easy to make and looks delicious.

The beauty of this project is that it’s easy to put together and fairly quick to make, making it easy to turn into a class project. It can also be used as a valentines card.

Valentine’s Day Heart Fingerprint Tree

What do you need:

  • 2 sheets of white paper
  • Stamp pad: red and pink (finger paint is also possible)
  • Black marker
  • scissors
  • pencil (optional)

First we need to create a template in the shape of a heart. The easiest way to do this (in our honest opinion) is to fold a piece of paper in half and draw a half heart shape. You can then easily cut out the heart by simply cutting along the line.

Place the piece of paper with the outline of the heart on a piece of white paper. For younger children, you can tape it to keep it in place while they get creative.

Draw a tree in the shape of a heart with a black marker.

Now it’s time to get your fingers dirty. Rub your fingers (thumbs and fingertips for different shapes) into the ink pads and “rub” the entire heart shape. Do this until you are happy with the thickness of the tree’s leaves :).

Remove the piece of paper with the outline of the heart.

If necessary, draw the rest of the tree trunk.

Wouldn’t that be the most beautiful Valentine’s card?
