How to craft with sea urchins

What do you need:

  • white cardboard
  • watercolors
  • scissors
  • black lining
  • brush
  • Glue
  • Magnetic tape (optional if you want to make a magnetic sea urchin)

Let us begin!

*

Step by step instructions

Draw a watercolor circle on the white cardboard.

*

Cut out this circle.

*

Draw two cute eyes or use googly eyes. Make them a different size to make the sea urchin friend look silly.

*

Glue the eyes to the circle.

*

Draw a mouth showing the teeth with the black pencil.

Unlike real sea urchins, which have five sharp teeth that can pierce a rock, our friend the sea urchin has normal teeth and cannot injure himself.

*

Cut off many thorns. To do this, use white cardboard.

They don’t have to be the same size.

*

Glue the tips to the back of the body.

*

Stick some magnetic tape on the back of the body and you can make a magnetic sea urchin to put on the fridge.

*

Finished! just right?

*

Now you can name your sea urchin friends and play with them.

I hope you find this project interesting.

*

We really like how these sea urchins turned out.

Stay tuned for more naval crafts!

See you soon!
