Christmas decorations to print out and color in.

Are you ready to start creating your unique decorations?

What do you need

  • Ornament template for coloring (there is also a pre-colored version) is available here —–>printable christmas decoration
  • Printer
  • Paper (heavier weight paper works best, but you can do this just as well with regular printer paper)
  • scissors
  • colored markers, crayons, or whatever you choose to use (like a gold or silver gel pen).
  • Glue (glue stick is great)
  • scotch tape
  • wire for hanging

Start cutting out the circles. For each ornament you will need two circles.

*

Using a stylus/bone pencil (or something similarly effective – ruler, ballpoint pen, utility knife…) draw (press hard) the dotted line.

*

Fold the flaps “inwards”.

*

You should see that now.

*

Cut the yarn, tie it in a bow and fasten it with a ribbon in the ornament (as shown in the picture). Make sure the loop is always on the outside of the ornament.

*

Now we will assemble the ornament. Start by applying glue to a single flap (only half of the fairing). Glue the other half of the embellishment to the first (flap over flap). Allow the glue to dry completely before proceeding. When the glue is dry, keep adding glue to the other ribs until you’ve gone all the way.

*

Hang on the Christmas tree.
