  • Metal Christmas cookie cutters
  • cooking spray
  • parchment
  • baking tray
  • glue gun
  • Christmas ribbon

How to make Peppermint Candy Decorations

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unwrap the mints from the plastic and set aside. Spray the cutters with Pam Spray and place them on the baking sheet.

Place mints in cookie cutters.

Bake for about 4 to 9 minutes, watching carefully (time depends on treat and your oven). When you see that they have melted, remove them.

When fully set, gently slide them out of the cookie cutters.

Once cool, use the hot glue to put a small blob on the back. Press the tape and let the glue dry.

These look deliciously cute, don’t they? But a warning for those of you who don’t have a wintry Christmas: if temperatures are high and ants are active in your area, it’s best to seal them off with a good caulk.
