Here we are with another cute and easy paper ladybug craft. We made this paper ladybug craft a while ago but since paper crafts are so much fun it was time to make another, different one.

After all, this cute bug deserves more attention, right?

Paper ladybug crafts

What do you need

  • Paper in red and black (and just a bit of white)
  • scissors
  • glue stick
  • Black marker

Cut out a circle shape from red paper (it is best to use construction paper as a base). Cut strips of red paper.

Take a strip of paper and glue it to the base as shown in the picture. Glue the next one at 90° to the first.

Continue with the next two and place them between the first two. Depending on the size of the ladybug you are making you need or better yet, add more strips of paper to make the ladybug’s body more complete.

Cut out the dots (we used the glue cap as a template) from black paper. Also cut out a semicircle for the head and the two antennae. Cut out two small oval shapes from white paper and draw eyes with a black marker.

Glue the dots and the head with the glue stick.
