Inside Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139…You have to find 33 weapons, spread over the two halves of the game. You get some as part of the story (so you don’t miss anything), you get some as side quest rewards, and you have to buy some others from blacksmiths.

Types of weapons used by the Nier Replicators

one-handed weapons

In the first half of the game, you only have access to one-handed weapons. These are the fastest weapons but deal less damage. One-handed weapons focus in the direction you’re facing with limited sweep attacks.

two-handed weapons

Two-handed weapons are much slower than one-handed weapons, but deal much more damage. They also tend to attack quickly, making them good for groups of enemies.

spear weapons

Spear weapons are a good middle ground between one-handed and two-handed weapons. They are faster than two-handed weapons and deal more damage than one-handed weapons. However, the spears are aimed and not useful for groups of enemies. They do have good range, however, and the spears allow you to attack (and launch attacks) from afar.
