Mirror Edge Catalyst takes place in the City of Glass, an open world filled with collectibles. We walked through every part of the city and took in everything that was in sight. Read this guide and you will find everything too.

You can collect five types of items Mirror Edge Catalyst:

  • GridLeaks They shine like gold and often hover in the paths they walk. They also make a flickering noise.
  • electronic parts They are hidden in the wall panels and you have to activate them. Look out for the silver glitter and bright red lights.
  • documents They look like black and yellow tubes with a strap on each end. You can find them almost anywhere: behind air vents, on coffee tables, on billboards, and elsewhere.
  • Surveillance Records They look like yellow cell phones. Just like documents, you can find them anywhere.
  • secret pockets, which project a screeching sound, are located near the runner icons, which resemble the Mirror’s Edge logo. However, you have to climb a bit to find them.

Two requirements and one limitation

To start collecting, complete Birdman’s first mission to unlock GridLeaks and Nomad’s first mission to unlock electronic parts. Some collectibles require the use of 180 degree rotation and Magrope, which you can unlock at the beginning of the game. We’ve noted the relevant requirements.

Note that some documents, surveillance logs, and secret bags live in story missions. You can check how much each contains on the missions page of Mirror Edge Catalystthe menu. Don’t worry if you missed some because you can replay the missions. In addition, if you complete the game, you can unlock an ability to reveal every GridLeak in the city.
