You are seeing: Marvel’s Avengers guide: How to survive as the different heroes. This post was compiled by en.intelnuc.
Inside miracle avenger, each hero has distinct differences. Some even play as if they belong to completely different games. But if they lose all their health (willpower in this game) they all die the same way. Most heroes have some form of damage mitigation to help them survive, sometimes healing or blocking damage before it hits them.
If you fall, an ally can pick you up. But you can only die a certain number of times in a restricted respawn area. If you exceed the limit, you will have to restart the checkpoint.
Here’s how to stay alive miracle avenger.
The universal way to survive miracle avenger This is done through green health packs dropped by certain enemies and items. Running your hero over these items will automatically restore his willpower.
If you need health right away, you can scour the terrain for enemy corpses, where you can find rogue health packs. But your best bet is through the green health barrels found in most regions. Destroying them will drop enough packs to fully charge your health. Just remember that once you’ve used them in an area, the packs are gone and you’ll either have to defeat enemies or move forward to find more.
block and dodge
The other universal method of avoiding damage is blocking and dodging, something the game actually teaches you during the tutorials.
There are three types of attacks miracle avenger: blue, yellow and red. Blue and yellow attacks can be dodged or parried, while red attacks are unblockable and must be dodged.
Many heroes have various abilities that help them parry or improve their parrying skills. It’s always best to parry when you can, as it generally does damage to the enemy and deals less damage to them. However, dodging is still the safest move since you will never encounter an inevitable move.
How to survive as a Black Widow
Black Widow has some of the lowest health of any Avenger, but she has a few abilities that make staying alive pretty easy.
Veil of Shadows is her support ability that turns her and all nearby allies invisible for a short time. This will instantly make all enemies lose interest in you and protect your crew from incoming attacks. Better, attacks don’t break stealth, so you can take out some of the nearby enemies and reduce numbers before seeing attacks again.
Black Widow also has a unique parry ability called Widow’s Line. Widow’s Line is actually a grappling hook that pulls her towards a target. If you’re smart with Widow’s Line, you can move around the battlefield very quickly and even dodge unblockable attacks just by stepping out of the area and hitting a new enemy. You can use Widow’s Line even when no enemy is attacking.
How to survive as Captain America
Captain America is very defense oriented miracle avenger. His intrinsic ability, the bar you can toggle on any hero, is a simple shield block. But Shield Block lets you deflect ranged attacks and block long before an incoming attack to make sure you don’t mess around. You can also run while using Shield Block, meaning you’re protected while traveling.
Shield Block has a finite cap, but the meter only drains when you block attacks. If you’re diligent, you’ll have your shield most of the time.
How to survive as the Hulk
Hulk has two main defensive abilities, his intrinsic slash and his support ability.
Hulk’s intrinsic meter is Rage, which causes Hulk to deal more damage and lifesteal when activated. While you have Rage active, you deal increased damage and each attack slowly regenerates your health. If you remember to use your Rage, you can ensure that the Hulk is almost always healthy and deals a lot of damage. You will gain more rage as you fight.
Hulk also has access to Boneshaker, his support ability that taunts all nearby enemies and increases Hulk’s defense. While you can’t always use it, it’s a great way to boost your defenses when you’re feeling intimidated. Taunt also helps you offload nearby allies.
How to survive as Iron Man
Like Black Widow, Iron Man is fairly easy to defeat compared to the other Avengers. However, Tony Stark still has a few tricks to keep him alive in battle.
Iron Man’s best survival trait is his ability to fly. You can take off instantly and evade enemies, making escaping much easier. And while you’ll have to attack enemies to regain some of your suit’s power, you can deal most of your damage from afar and stay relatively safe.
But if things get really bad, you can use the Hulkbuster. Iron Man’s ultimate has armor that instantly heals Tony and has its own health bar. You can control the robot for a short time before it disappears. But during this period you are completely safe from any danger.
He can also upgrade Iron Man’s Arc Overload support ability to drop a bubble shield around himself and nearby allies, or an air shield called Energy Barrier, also locked behind a buff.
How to Survive as Ms. Marvel
Kamala is the closest thing Marvel’s Avengers can support. She has a healing ability and can easily parry incoming damage.
Changed Kamala’s intrinsic meter, allowing her to deal bonus damage and automatically dodge incoming attacks. If you have Polymorph activated, you can fight normally and Kamala takes no damage from blue or yellow attacks. Be careful as unlockable attacks can still knock you down.
Kamala’s support ability is Heal Spirit, which automatically heals all nearby allies and Kamala. It’s the easiest way to heal in the game and only requires a button press as long as you’re on cooldown.
How to survive as Thor
Thor is one of the toughest Avengers and it takes a lot to bring him down.
Like Iron Man, Thor can fly. Thor doesn’t let you fly or take off as fast as Iron Man, but the ability to dodge fights makes the matchup a bit safer, as you can always jump and fly to restore your health.
Thor’s support ability, Warrior’s Fury, shocks Thor and all nearby enemies for a few seconds. Also makes Thor and nearby allies temporarily invulnerable. It’s one of Thor’s two “shit buttons” and a great way to survive death if things go wrong.
One of Thor’s best defensive abilities is his ultimate Bifrost, which teleports him out of the arena and allows him to crash into unsuspecting enemies. Bifrost is the only ability in the game that instantly takes you out of combat. When you need a break or need to make sure you get out of a bad situation, activate your ultimate ability and you’re good to go.
