Version 1: The easiest way to draw a perfect star
We are very happy to share this tutorial with you because it is the easiest way to draw a perfect star! And it’s only 4 steps! You can draw it with a pencil and trace your final design with a marker or just leave it as is with all the lines as these kind of stars look great anyway.
Start drawing a letter A without the horizontal line.
Draw a horizontal line across the top third of the letter “A”.
Almost there, only two strokes away. All that’s left to do is “connect the dots”, draw a line from one end of the horizontal line, say, left to right below the “letter A”.
Do the same with the other side.
Congratulations, you just learned how to draw a star! Now you can trace it with a marker and erase the lines or get creative and give your star a smiley face.
Version 2: Draw stars in one go
With this method, you don’t have to lift your pen off the paper to draw a star. Once you get the hang of it, this is the quickest way to draw stars.
You can draw with a pencil and when you’re done, trace the outer lines with a marker to get the perfect star without the inner lines.
Start by drawing a horizontal line from left to right.
Continue drawing a line at an angle.
The next line should be slanting and going to the top of the star design.
You’re almost there! Now draw a line from top to bottom, still at an angle.
It remains only to connect the last line to the first and you have drawn a star.
If you’re drawing in pencil, outline the drawing with a marker and erase the pencil.
