How to draw a snowman

What do you need:

• our printable guide to drawing snowmen (optional)
• pencil or marker
• paper
• coloring supplies

Instructions for drawing snowmen step by step

step 1

Start drawing a circle.

It doesn’t have to be a perfect circle, so don’t worry, snow isn’t perfect, which is why snowmen have bumps.

2nd step

Draw a curved line just above the center of the circle when drawing a winter hat on your snowman.

Draw another live curve over the first one.

Also draw a circle at the top to complete the style of the hat. You can also add more details to the hat if you like.

Draw a carrot nose (or round nose).

Draw two larger dots for the eyes and a few smaller ones for the mouth.

Next comes the scarf.

And then the body of the snowman. Make it nice and chubby.

Draw the 3 large buttons on the snowman’s body and scarf detail.

Draw stripes on the scarf.

Draw the hands. They can be twigs or snowballs.
