We love popping cards (just check out our super popular tulip heart card) and this simple card is an easy way for kids to practice their fine motor skills and creativity.
You will enjoy cutting and pasting the snippets. Not to mention, pop-up cards never fail to amaze little kids.
Why buy the typical greeting cards when you can make your own, right? So gather the necessary materials and let’s start creating!
Valentine’s Day Heart Popup Card
What do you need:
- the glue
- colored paper (any color you like, but Valentine’s Day is best represented with red and pink)
Step by step instructions
Start by folding the card stock to create a card base.
Cut out a piece of colored paper the same size as your card and fold it as well. Cut slits in the folded part.
Paste it into the map. Leave some slits untaped to create pop-up support.
Cut out a heart shape and glue it to the front of your card.
Cut out heart shapes of different sizes.
Glue the heart shapes to the pop-up holder and other parts of the card.
Your Valentine’s Day pop-up card is ready to be sent to your loved ones. Create more and customize if you want.
