You can find it in Caelid’s Bestial Sanctum Gurranq, Cleric of Beasts. In exchange for each deadly root you give him, he will reward you with a sigil and various bestial spells, as well as other beast-themed rewards.

There are two Roots of Death that can be found in Liurnia de los Lagos. You get one for defeating the Tibia Mariner at the base of the caric study and find one in the Black Knife Catacombs.

Two roots of death were found on Mount Gelmir. You get one for defeating the Tibia Mariner in the Wyndham Ruins and find one inside Tomb of the hero of Gelmir after defeating Red Wolf of the Champion.

There are three Deathroots in Giant’s Peaks. You get one for defeating the Tibia Mariner just southwest of castle groundsfind one inside Hidden path to Haligtree after defeating the Stray Mimic Tear and find one in the Giants Peak Catacombs after defeating the Festered Tree Spirit.
