Genshin Impact guide: The Chi of Guyun quest walkthrough and solution
Genshin Impact is full of side quests, many of which involve riddles and brain teasers. Guyun’s Chi is a multi-stage quest that activates statues.
The side quest can be completed by Yan’er, a hooded NPC. You can find them in the northern ruins of Liyue. The ruins are right next to a teleport point that will take you to the Bishui Plains. Once in the area, a blue quest marker should appear on your map, directing you to Yan’er.
Most quests usually tell you where to go, but some parts will lead you to a vague area or give you a riddle that tells you what to do. We have explained these parts below.
Find the statues in the ruins.
The three stone statues you want to interact with in the first stage are under tall trees surrounded by bright orange rocks nearby.
Once this is done you will have to go to Qingce Village to learn more about the shards.
Activate the statues in the correct order
Go to the fenced area below the teleport point just outside Qingce Village.
You will be tasked with interacting with the stone statues in a specific order. If you get stuck, the order is:
Activate the statues that point to the right spots.
For the last piece of the relic, you need to climb the highest mountain around Qingce Village.
Upon arrival, you will be tasked with activating specific statues that indicate specific points of interest. You need to activate the statues you see below.
After this part, go back and talk to Grandma Ruoxin. You need to find a treasure chest nearby, in which you will have to face several ruin guards and a ruin hunter. So be prepared to fight a lot of enemies before entering them. Once you get past this mess, the mission should be complete. You will get gems and a key to your problem.
