Resurrection skills are all about controlling the armies of the dead Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer. Skeletons, golems and other skeletons will come to your aid and fight against your enemies. There are also two major cooldowns in this skill tree that will help you destroy the minions of darkness.

command skeletons

Passively pick up up to seven skeletons off the ground. These skeletons will follow you and attack your enemies. You can activate the ability to command your skeletons to attack a specific enemy and deal more damage for a short time.

runes

  • executor: The cost of commanding your skeletons is reduced.
  • rage: Skeletons also gain attack speed on command.
  • dark repair: Skeleton attacks heal you on command.
  • icy grip: Freezes the target the skeletons are aimed at. Minions deal cold damage.
  • kill command: The command will explode your skeletons on the target. Deals poison damage.

Passively awaken a corpse golem to fight at your side. When you activate the ability, your golem will leap into a target area and explode in a pile of five corpses. This activation has a cooldown.

runes

  • Flesh Golem: Explodes into eight corpses instead.
  • ice golem: Freezes all enemies in a small area. Frozen enemies become brittle, increasing the chance that you will critically hit them. Minion deals cold damage.
  • bone golem: Activating the golem turns it into a tornado. The Golem will stun, damage and transport all enemies to a target area.
  • decaying golem: Activating the golem causes it to devour corpses in a certain area. The golem’s damage increases with each devoured corpse.
  • blood golem: Activating the golem will expire it and heal you for a large amount. When the Golem deconstructs, it damages all enemies in an area around it.

Army of the Dead

Causes a massive wave of skeletons to smash into a location, dealing massive damage. This skill has a 120 second cooldown.

  • withered handle: Instead, the hands come out of the ground, grabbing your enemies and dealing extra damage in a small area. Deals poison damage.
  • Death Valley: When the army runs toward the center, nearby enemies will be pushed in that direction.
  • unconventional warfare: Skeletons will appear around you and attack random enemies.
  • frozen army: The army charges in a line instead of moving toward a target location. Deals cold damage.
  • dead storm: In exchange for a large amount of health, you are surrounded by a swirling storm of bones, damaging all enemies around you.

land of death

In a large area around you, all corpse abilities can be used without a corpse for 10 seconds. This skill has a 120 second cooldown.

  • frozen lands: Periodically freeze all enemies in the Land of the Dead.
  • Plague Lands: The Land of the Dead now deals damage to enemies within it.
  • shallow graves: Every time you kill 10 enemies, the duration of Land of the Dead is increased (maximum two seconds).
  • revitalization: Essence drain abilities no longer have a cost in Land of the Dead.
  • Cockaigne: All enemies killed heal you in the land of the dead.
