You are seeing: Destiny 2 guide: Dead Man’s Tale Catalyst, Presage Master difficulty. This post was compiled by en.intelnuc.
Back in February, Bungie released the exotic quest Dead Man’s Tale, an exotic scout rifle destiny 2. In the new Presage, you can tour a haunted Cabal ship to pick up Dead Man’s Tale, a highly modified scout rifle. But now you can repeat the mission on a much higher difficulty: Master.
Master Presage recommends 1320 power and adds a 25 minute timer. But as a reward, Zavala gives you the Dead Man’s Tale Exotic Catalyst, which upgrades your awesome new weapon.
Here’s how to complete the Omen quest on Master difficulty and where to find the hidden caches to upgrade your new Catalyst.
Unlock the catalyst in Dead Man’s Tale
After completing the Omen quest, Zavala will have a new task for you, a quest called At Your Fingertips. Accept the mission and assemble your squad. You must complete Omen on the new Master difficulty.
This version of Presage is a bit more difficult. While you can level up enemies in this build, you also get a timer, unlike the standard Presage build, which forces you to be powered up. You have to complete the entire mission in 25 minutes, which is pretty tight.
If you’re already very familiar with the quest, you shouldn’t have too much trouble: our group completed it on the first try. But if you’ve only done Presage once or twice, you might want to practice or refresh your memory with our guide.
Presage Master locks your loadout and has match game, which means you and your friends must make sure you have all the weapons to deal with the Arc, Solar, and Void shields. The quest says there are champions, but it doesn’t.
Complete the Omen mission without wasting time jumping or puzzles, and you should get to the boss in about five or six minutes. Deal with the boss and the timer will stop. Complete the quest and return to Zavala to get the Dead Man’s Tale catalyst.
Dead Man’s Tale Catalyst update
You can upgrade Dead Man’s Tale Catalyst in two different ways. You can earn a kill percentage with Dead Man’s Tale or collect Hidden Cache in the Presage quest. The quickest way to quit Catalyst is to do a little bit of both.
Getting kills with Dead Man’s Tale is pretty easy – you can turn them into a specific activity if you want, but we recommend using the weapon regularly. But hidden caches in Presage give a whopping 12% per hidden cache.
Unfortunately, these hidden caches seem to be time-limited, so you can only get one new hidden cache per week.
Three hidden caches are available starting March 2nd. Note that you must complete Presage on Normal or Master mode each week before you can get the hidden cache. it must be in his second heat.
Hidden Cache 1
After completing the initial jumping puzzle, the spacewalk, you’ll find yourself in a mini maze. Take the first left and blast the vents in front of you. You’ll know you’re in the right spot because there should be a space mushroom mound that takes up the entire right opening. Navigate and interact with the datapad on the ground.
The cobblestones disappear and the door in front of you opens. Climb the chest to get a weapon and go to your catalyst.
Hidden Cache 2
This hidden cache is almost impossible to miss. Go through the opening maze and go through the mission until you reach a narrow blue hallway. The datapad is on the floor; You have to step over it to continue, so just watch your feet. Activate the data block.
Turn around and you will see a trap door in the floor. Go inside to find the next chest.
Hidden cache 3
The third hidden cache is the easiest to describe. Once you board the ship, open the large door to the landing zone, and make your first trip to Spore, you’ll find yourself in a room with a bunch of vines and a Cabal hanging around. Turn right on Cabal and you will find a data board on the ground. interact with him.
The door directly in front of the data will open and you will find a hidden chest inside. Go upstairs and search the chest.
These are all currently available hidden caches in the Presage mission. You’ll have to wait until next week if you want another hidden cache.
The Dead Man’s Tale Catalyst gives you a new advantage
Some catalysts in there destiny 2 It only gives you some bonus stats, but Dead Man’s Tale Catalyst offers a powerful new perk.
This new perk increases the weapon’s rate of fire when hip-fired and removes the accuracy penalty for hip-firing. This should make Dead Man’s Tale a more powerful tool in critical situations and give it some melee versatility.
As with all catalysts, multiple kills will spawn orbs of light once you complete the Dead Man’s Tale catalyst.
