how to get there

*

Your goal is to reach the chapel side of the suspension bridge; can come from there rope bridge cave Where Chapel of Ariandel Fire of Joy If you attack the bridge multiple times, it will collapse and create a ladder down, just like in the Catacombs of Carthus. Go down the ladder and follow the path to the left.

*
*

You will enter another set of ledges, roots, and branches. Some followers are waiting for you on the rock face. Take them out remotely if you can; It’s hard to maneuver here without falling to your death.

*

Continue down along the roots (look for the ones that seem wide enough to walk on) until you come to a ledge. There is a glass lizard on the ledge dropping some shimmering titanite, but there are also two supports around the corner and a Millwood Knight archer above you. attack him glass lizard then turn your attention to the disciple with shield and spear. Try to bring the fight back to the right corner to avoid the Millwood Knight archer. Get rid of the spear-throwing companion next to you to pick one up embers.

*

On the other side of the cliff, past the Millwood Knight Archer where you came from, is another pick-up weapon. You can shoot the Millwood Knight using the branches as cover, or lure him into a fight on a cliff. Once it’s out of the way, go to the right end of the cliff. Here you can see the item you are looking for. Cross, go down one level and go back up saber pendant.

*

Continue your descent to the ground. There is another Millwood Knight Archer guarding the end of your journey. If you can deal damage from afar, he’ll drop his bow and give you a pause if you get close to him. Pick it up from its perch and drop it on the ground.

*

Below where you just came out is an ice cave with the depths of painting Fire.

around the campfire

*

Go straight out of the ice cave and away from the campfire. Since you will be walking around, getting this is a good idea Knight Millwood with a bow and arrow on the branch above you. Lure him off his branch to make the fight easier.

*

After you touch it, go to sleep giant ice crab. If he notices you, his friend will jump out of the ice and join the fight as well.

Treat the crabs the same way you treat the giant crabs in the Victim’s Road area: dodge their crushing claw attacks and attack their unarmed front.

*

Follow the path the crab was guarding up a ramp to find him return bonesbut beware: there is one Witch at the end of the ramp. From your position at the top of the ramp, look sideways and attack if you have ranged weapons woman tree Low. If you don’t have ranged weapons, head down the ramp and take the path away from the campfire where you can fight.

At the end of the road in front of you is an end Witch. Defeat it and it will go away. Instead you will find a corpse. loot it to find it Flash Freezeso that, according to his description, it emits “an almost icy cloud of fog”.

titanite plate

There is still something to find and you are in the right place. As the Polygon BlackBoxTheme player points out, once you kill the last witch tree, a ladder will appear on the ramp where you picked up the Homeward Bones.

Retrace your steps, go up a flight of stairs and you’ll find a corpse to loot. titanite plate. If you continue up the path past the corpse, you’ll find a giant bug and the path back to the Rope Bridge Cavern bonfire.

Fight the champion gravedigger boss

I rest by the campfire. The boss fight you’ll have is decidedly melee-focused (with a little Frost for fun), so dig into your closet for your best physical protection and keep an eye out for Frost and Balance stats.

*

If you’re dressed properly, follow the wall to the right. You’ll drop a ledge in a wide open field at the base of the tower you explored earlier.

*

Under the tower, the Champion’s Tomb Warden and you guardwolf it will notice you and start the fight.

Tier 1: Guardian of the Tombs of Champions

Like most boss fights, this one has two phases. Two more wolves (three in total) immediately join the fight. Take them out quickly while keeping a distance between you and the Gravetender. Help isn’t coming (at least for a minute), so you can focus on her while the wolves take care of her.

*

The Gravetender is fast, like most of the enemies you’ve encountered in Ariandel, making ranged attacks and spells difficult, but not impossible. Wait for her to recover a few moments after jumping or rolling over to catch her off guard. However, it is not an easy battle to fight from afar. Once equipped, face him. She has a leap attack that telegraphs and is easy to dodge. Use this opening to get behind them to do a backstab or multi-hit combo.

Stage 2: Champion’s Tomb Warden and Great Gravekeeper Wolf

*

Once you’ve reduced the champion’s Tomb Warden’s health to about half, the second phase of the fight begins. In harmony with Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel, it means the enemies will unite against you. So obviously the superpowers Guardian Wolf of the Great Tomb join the fight now.

You don’t have to defeat them in any order, so ignore the Great Wolf of the Gravekeeper and keep fighting the Champion’s Gravekeeper.

The Gravetender Greatwolf has a freight train-like attack that travels a long distance (and deals a lot of damage), so keep moving. Just use the same tactics you used against the Gravetender until it’s out of the way, then turn your attention to the wolf.

It’s also a good idea to stay under the tower where the Warden of the Champions Tombs sat before you spawned. This tends to limit the Gravetender Greatwolf’s ability to perform certain attacks, or at least perform them with ruthless abandon, e.g. B. outdoors. This makes it easier to focus on the champion’s Tomb Warden.

The Greatwolf Gravetender has no surprises other than the freight train feel. Avoid him if necessary, but generally treat him like the other wolves and big wolves you’ve fought here.

*

After the fight you will get it champion bones and the brave heart Sword and shield combination used by the Gravetender.
