Construction Paper Owl Craft

We love fall crafts! It’s one of the most beautiful times of the year because you can be very clever with the animals of the forest, such as this construction paper owl.

This is a super easy craft that is perfect for kindergarten or even preschool if your preschoolers are good with scissors.**This post contains affiliate links**

who loves owls We do! He’s a very fun bird, although he can be very noisy at the wrong times (if you’re trying to sleep and he decides to, he’ll make a buzzing noise right next to the open window, but he’s a cute cupcake nonetheless).

We also love super easy craft paper since it’s one of the most kid-friendly (and teacher-friendly) craft materials out there.

This craft idea involves a lot of cutting and gluing, making it great fine motor and scissor training for your little ones and fun.

Let’s make an owl out of construction paper.

What do you need:

  • scissors
  • the glue
  • Black marker
  • Pencil or colored pencil for tracing by hand
  • Circle Punch (kids will love punching the circles)

Colored cardboard, choose the colors you like the most! Here are the colors we decided to go with:

  • brown construction paper for the body
  • orange cardboard for the wings
  • pink and purple craft paper for pens
  • white eye paper
  • yellow paper for the beak

Any other decoration material you can think of.
