Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker ‘Walleye Tumble Temple’ (Episode 1-2) guide

“Walleye Tumble Temple” is the second level of Captain Toad: Treasure HunterFirst episode. Each level has three big gems and a power star. Everyone has one too Bonus Challenge complete.

It is possible to complete this bonus challenge while collecting the Super Gems in Walleye Tumble Temple. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you collect everything. You can follow step-by-step from the start, or our helpful section titles and images will take you straight to any area you’re having trouble with.

Super Gem 1 and Bonus Challenge

1. The first gem you see is actually Super Gem 3. If you try to cross it, the bridge will collapse underneath you, dropping you into the water. There’s nothing wrong with that and you get coins from the ditch, but you can’t complete the bonus challenge. (Remember that you can always replay the level to get the bonus challenge without worrying about collecting awesome gems.)
2. Instead of crossing the stone bridge, turn left or right and drop off the platform. This prevents the bridge from collapsing and closes the Bonus Challenge. In the corner on the right you will find some swing bridges.
3. Go to the middle of the first bridge and wait for it to rotate once. Run left to pick up super gem 1 behind the walleye.

1. Continue across the swing bridges and enter the temple.
2. Run down the hallway and over the first spinning drum.
3. There is a hidden room on the other side where you will find a Pluck Patch. Drag to pick up super gem 2.

1. Go back to the first spinning drum and exit through the middle door.
2. Flip the camera to see what you’re doing, then head up the stairs.
3. Move the camera again and wait for the second drum to spin to connect the balcony you are on to the hallway above.
4. Run down the hall to the end, where you’ll find another spinning drum.
5. Wait to pass through one of the openings and go inside. Ride this drum to the top of the temple.
6. In the Pluck Patch on your left, use the turnips to stun the first walleye until they stop. do pick up super gem 3.

From the third Super Gem, pass the last gold and collect the Power Star.

Once the level starts, turn the camera around to see the back of the temple. Look at the second spinning drum in the top right corner. With the tunnel aligned vertically on the left, you’ll see Pixel Toad near the top.
