We were walking through the woods today and heard this hum around some trees. And guess what we found? An impressive wasp house hanging from a tree.
Did you know that wasps chew up strands of bark in their little mouths and just spit them out to form the rough paper they build these houses out of? So interesting right?
And the house we found was full of little doorbells. We could see them coming in and out of her house and flying around her.
*
We didn’t want to bother them as they get very angry and can bite our noses and hands, so we continued our walk.
*
When we got home we thought of this great idea and made these adorable colorful buzzers that didn’t itch, then put them on our fingers and flew them around the house.
*
We had lots of fun.
