Animal Crossing: New Horizons Players can celebrate May Day April 29th to May 7th.
To participate, go to Resident Services and talk to Tom Nook. he will give you one May 1 card to join a limited-time May Day Island tour. Take the airport ticket and you will fly to an island with a hedge maze.
How does the May Day Maze Tour work?
Tools, crafting materials and fruit are hidden in the maze. To get through the maze you need to craft more tools and eat the fruits at the right time to get rid of obstacles like rocks and trees. To make the challenge a bit more complicated, you can’t bring anything with you. You can only use the items you find in the maze to complete it.
The maze is fairly easy, but it’s worth keeping these important tips in mind:
- Once you’ve eaten a fruit, you can use your shovel to break rocks and lift trees.
- In the middle of the maze is a crafting station. You need enough materials to craft tools like ladders (which you can find in the maze).
- Small pits can only be jumped straight through, but there is always a way to get to the other side.
- If you make a mistake or get stuck, use your NookPhone and the Rescue Services app to be taken back to start and restart the island. (Once you leave the island, you can’t come back!)
With a bit of perseverance you should be able to be there in a few minutes. If you want to earn some extra cash, make sure you collect the Bell Coupons scattered throughout the maze. They are each worth 3,000 Bells. (But if 3,000 Bells doesn’t appeal to you, feel free to ignore them and go straight to the end.)
What rewards can I get for completing the May Day Maze?
At the end of the maze, Rover, a cat character who appeared in previous Animal Crossing games, is waiting for you. he will give you Rover briefcase, a piece of furniture covered in travel stickers. If you have completed the event in previous years, you will receive Rover image To the place. The reward will be sent to you once you return to your island.
The ticket and tour cannot be redeemed until you collect your loot, and that’s it. Even though there is only one thing to do for this event, it’s nice to see a familiar face again. We don’t know what that means for Rover or if it will return at a future event.
