Before the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find ThemComing out in a few months, Warner Bros. has released a guide to the different types of creatures Harry Potter fans can expect to see in the film.

The guide, published in Entertainment Weekly, highlights a few different beasts, and while some of this particular magical trait are entirely new, there are others that avid Harry Potter readers will remember. For example, one of the beasts that will appear in the film is Niffler, who originally appeared in The Goblet of Fire Y The Order of the Phoenix. The little honey badger-like creature likes to pick up small trinkets and keeps them in the pouch at the bottom of its abdomen. The Niffler and other creatures can be seen in the gallery below.

Some of the other creatures mentioned above, like Swooping Evil and Bowtruckle, are brand new. The former is capable of “brain sucking” and is described as a cross between a butterfly and a reptile. The second is an adorable, plant-like creature that is described as extremely loyal and incredibly shy.

Then there’s the Thunderbird, which is a relative of the Hippogriff family (reminiscent of Buckbeak The Prisoner of Azkaban?) and the demiguise, a “primate-like creature” that has the ability to turn invisible on the fly. In fact, it is the demiguises’ fur that is used to make an invisibility cloak, like the one Harry received for Christmas during his first year at Hogwarts.

These are just some of the creatures Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) will have to hunt down when released in New York. Of course, you can read about other creatures in the book the film is based on.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits theaters on November 17th.
